Want to do a part of the xNHAT? Join us on a bike ride on Friday, August 18th for a guided journey on a gloriously scenic section of the xNHAT.

We will travel the Presidential Rail Trail in the Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge and beyond, plus the dirt roads and paved back roads that comprise the xNHAT in Jefferson and Randolph.

Participation is limited to 20 riders, so please pre-register by emailing info.weeksstateparkassociation@gmail.com and put “Bike” in the subject line. Confirmation of your spot, and additional details of the ride will be provided to you.

Marianne’s Bio: In her “first career,” Marianne was a protein biochemist earning her degrees at Tufts University. When not in the lab, she enjoyed bicycling, hiking and kayaking.

​

After an early retirement she moved to the Mt. Washington Valley, focusing on enjoyment of the outdoors, and embarked on her “second career” teaching cross country skiing at the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation. She was the director of the ski school, and on the Board of Directors. She has been a ride leader for the Mt Washington Valley Bicycling Club, hosting Thursday rides all over northern NH for 18 years.

With the interest in gravel biking and bikepacking, she added a “third career” to the mix: she endeavors to share her love of bicycle travel adventures by establishing a border-to-border bicycling route across New Hampshire.
